is it just me
is it just me who doesn't care about what kind of pencil to use or what energy drink or food to consume or how to dress up on the game day?

To be fair, I never PTed a 180 until I switched to the Dixon Tri-Conderoga. I largely blame my performance on my first take on a poor choice of pencil.ImNoScar wrote:Welcome to law students being neurotic about absolutely everything.

I'd just recommend PT only in pen. When you switch to pencil it won't even matter what kind.
But I read somewhere there's some merit to what you wear to a test. Principle is, if you feel good about yourself, you'll do well.

Most of those thread are bs. It doesn't matter what you wear or what kind of food to consume. That's all superstition.jad0re wrote:is it just me who doesn't care about what kind of pencil to use or what energy drink or food to consume or how to dress up on the game day?

Pencils are pretty important though. There's a noticeable difference between using a Ticon black and a cheap generic branded CVS pencil.
Someone in the pencil thread explained it pretty well with this analogy:
A good samurai will defeat an inferior opponent regardless of what kind of sword he uses. A good sword is not sufficient to make a samurai great. However, it's to his advantage to use a good sword vs a shitty sword.
With all else equal, why would you not want to have a better weapon on game day?

TTT mistake. If your hand is comfortable and the pencil writes well, you're more likely to do well.peke wrote:I'd just recommend PT only in pen. When you switch to pencil it won't even matter what kind.

The difference between a 120 test taker and a 180 test taker comes down to the type of pencil. Simple as that.

Don't forget your Depends adult diapers in case you have to crap or piss yourself during the test. Taking a bathroom break during the test? AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!
