pros cons of sept lsat
I was initially inclined to take Jun lsat, however, I may not have enough time to prep. What is the disadvantage of Sept lsat; Are there any difficulty-level differences with respect to june lsat?
I wonder if examinees get to keep the question paper post-lsat.

The LSAT is created so that the "curve" (not really a curve, mathematically speaking) means that you will get the same score regardless of which test you take.
There is no September exam. Feb, June, Oct, Dec
You don't get to keep the test booklet after any of the tests. For June, October and December, you get PDFs of the test booklet (not yours, just a blank one) and your scoresheet online when you get your score.

Con: It doesn't exist.
Pro: Its non-existence makes it easiest LSAT on record.

Technically it's the Oct/Sept admin. 2009 and 2007 it was in Sept.

Yeah but LSAC refers to it as the October LSAT.Clearlynotstefan wrote:Technically it's the Oct/Sept admin. 2009 and 2007 it was in Sept.

It depends. In literature that doesn't reference specific years that have dates set, it's often written Feb, June, Sept/Oct, Dec admins.RELIC wrote:Yeah but LSAC refers to it as the October LSAT.Clearlynotstefan wrote:Technically it's the Oct/Sept admin. 2009 and 2007 it was in Sept.

The only difference is that it tends to have a more difficult curve than the December test, which implies a slightly easier, though more unforgiving, test.jmjm wrote:I was initially inclined to take Jun lsat, however, I may not have enough time to prep. June has the easiest questions/tightest curve. Dec has the harder questions easiest curve. Oct varies in the middle usually.jselson wrote:The only difference is that it tends to have a more difficult curve than the December test, which implies a slightly easier, though more unforgiving, test.jmjm wrote:I was initially inclined to take Jun lsat, however, I may not have enough time to prep. September is easier. Usually most of the sections are easier and you can get a higher scorejmjm wrote:I was initially inclined to take Jun lsat, however, I may not have enough time to prep. What is the disadvantage of Sept lsat; Are there any difficulty-level differences with respect to june lsat?

No benefit. It's always the same test.

They have to tell themselves something to get their hopes up. They don't plan on actually studying so they want to cut corners.deputydog wrote:No benefit. It's always the same test.
