Re: Best LSAT tutor
Not sure if it's legit or not, but apparently, one of the former writers of the LSAT has a craigslist advertisement for doing skype/facetime tutoring. If you're interested PM me and I'll PM you the ad.

Re: Best LSAT tutor
If Tuffy's referring to my ad, I am indeed legit. But I don't do facetime - just skype or phone tutoring. (And I'm setting up my tutee roster now for June prep.)

Can you explain how it works over skype? Fow example, how do you view the diagrams while working through logic games?

I'm in Philly area and looking for a study partner. Don't know about tutors though.

what exactly would be the difference between watching his lessons vs. hiring him as a tutor other than the price?Josh4737 wrote:Or how is 7Sage LSAT tutoring? J.Y Ping has a high pricetag but would he be worth it?

So dedicated that he removed his claim of 4 consecutive 180s from his website after it was questioned on TLS?

Re: Best LSAT tutor
Hi Tuffy, sorry didn't see your question until now - feel free to just pm me. As for how the AR (aka logic games/puzzles) tutoring works by Skype/Phone, I simply describe how I diagram the given question (and in no time, most tutees get that step on their own), and how I proceed from there. Solving these questions isn't really a matter of complex diagramming so much as knowing which conditions to focus on or combine, understanding the implications of the given conditions, etc.

And as for the LR and RC, it works just like in-person tutoring, but without the distraction of visuals and body language; as long as we both have the same stim/question in front of us, there's no problem talking about it, asking and answering questions about it, and so on.
