Can you have misconduct without being given a slip?

Post by zz2554 » Sat Dec 01, 2012 4:27 pm

At the LSAT...

At the end of section 5, time was called. Randomly bubbled 3 unanswered questions shortly after this, but before tests were collected.
Good chance the proctor saw this being done. Nothing was said, no misconduct slip was given. Essay was written and handed in, dismissed as per usual proceedings.

Is there any chance misconduct could still be reported, even though no verbal or written notification for misconduct was given?
Do proctors have to give out a slip or verbally acknowledge misconduct on test day to the person in question?

Please respond, thank you.

Admitting to cheating on the Internet doesn't help but you should be fine

Just as an edit, nearly positive proctor saw it, but no way to really be sure.

scanned forums thoroughly, only seemed to find outdated information so updates to this situation are welcome.

thank you

Probably won't care if they didn't say anything. Back when I took it, the proctor saw somebody filling in bubbles after time had been called, verbally admonished them, and that was it.

It seems that's the general consensus because I haven't heard anyone cite an example of getting misconduct for test violations without getting a slip on test day. Has anyone heard differently?
