How many practice tests should you take?
For those of you who "conquered" the LSAT (160+) how many practice tests did it take you before you were scoring where you wanted?
I've taken about 9 tests and scored in the 150s only 1 time. Feeling very discouraged. Is this normal??
I'm taking the test in December and I already have 4 months of study in with a prep class, so it's practice tests only for here on in. I understand what's going on, but my RC is terrible and I have a serious timing issue. I don't get to on average about 5-6 of the last questions per section so I just fill them in "blindly"
Any advice would be awesome.

Either you don't understand the material well enough or you don't have the time constraints down. You should take a step back and work on whichever one is your weakness. There's no point in doing exams until you understand how those things work and are comfortable with it. It doesn't sound like you're benefitting very much from that form of study, so try something else.

yeah, you should do more work on the individual sections before doing a lot of practice tests. I recommend the powerscore bibles and this book:
once you get through those, then its time to start doing multiple practice tests until the big day.

I would aim for at least 40-present. 29-38 are good tests to add if you have the time. You can get all ten for about $17 on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Next-Actual-Offic ... 979305055/
