Their was a !kung passage? Why did i decide on December!??? I've studied the !kung for two years now....pointless thread is pointless.

Am I the only one who cannot articulate anything about !Kung except for the fact that they appeared in an LSAT passage?

I have no clue what the hell they are. A tribe of sorts, but that's all I got.

I tend to like passages I have prior knowledge over, it helps me put the argument into context and reduces the chance of me misunderstanding something. Usually if I see a Greek/Roman passage I do pretty well over it.

Political Philosophy is a hobby of mine, and when I came to passage on anarchism and civil disobedience the other day with 4 minutes to go, I finished the passage and questions with a minute to spare. Here's to a passage comparing ancient and modern political philosophy come December.

I'm a biology major and I tend to find the science passages super easy. Definitely, having an anthro/science/philosophy major helps heaps on at least one of the RC (because the material is so familiar).

I'm a political science major, but I also find the science RC section easiest, when there is one. I used to read a lot of popular science (Brian Greene style) books, so that probably helps.

I second this. I read a passage about Groupthink once and had written a paper on it back in college. My brain went into 'i know this shit' mode, and I ended fucking up a couple questions.

I think provided one is careful not to bring one's own views into the passage, it should be helpful, not hurtful. It just makes digesting the material much easier. Either way, groupthink was a very difficult passage IMO.
