32-1-17, Question about one of the answer choices

Post by sdwarrior403 » Sat Oct 06, 2012 1:43 am

Answer choice B: "There is evidence of breaches in computer security at the time of the embezzlement that could have given people outside the company access to internal finance records.

We are trying to figure out who was the embezzler. If you are outside the company and breached security, you are not an embezzler.

How does this weaken the idea of who the embezzler was?

No, we are trying to disprove the fact that actuaries are the embezzlers.

B tells us that maybe the embezzler was outside of the company.

Embezzle means to "steal or misappropriate"

Give me a break. Embezzle is to steal from within a company.
