Eating between sections?

Post by freekitten » Fri Oct 05, 2012 4:40 pm

LSAC says food is for breaks only, but I don't want to run low on sugar by the time I hit section 3... Does anyone know if I can nibble here and there between sections? Thanks and good luck tomorrow!

1. The breaks between sections will be too short to eat anything. (Think 15 to 90 seconds.) You aren't allowed to get out your food and drink.
2. Unless you are a severe diabetic or something, your blood sugar isn't going to drop far enough to bother you in an hour and a half.

It's not really a break. The proctor says "Stop" and everyone has to put down their pencils. Then the proctor says, "For the following section you will have 35 minutes..." and you turn the page to the next section.

Think less "break" and more "pause to make sure no one is still working."

Usually I hope the proctor gives us 1 min to break between sections. After all, that's what's stated in the instructions.

Some proctors are idiots who have never even read the instructions before they start reading them to you. Every administration there are horror stories of people getting into arguments over obvious rules with proctors. Do not bet on getting exactly 60 seconds.

For sure. Hence...the "I hope" part.

I recommend going to Home Town Buffet during the break.
