True story from two days ago:
I posted a craigslist ad a while ago for LSAT tutoring in my area. A guy emailed me inquiring about LSAT tutoring. I spoke with him on the phone and found out he has taken a Kaplan course, but it's not their fault he didn't do well since he didn't always show up. He took 3 PTs but he only submitted his answers for one of them and it was for 131-134 (he wasn't sure). He is taking the LSAT on Saturday and wants to go to his first choice school, cooley law school, which he plans to start at in January. Also, he has been a doctor for 12 years but is looking to do "something different."
He offered me double my usual rate to teach him this week... I spoke with him for about 10 minutes reassuring him that while I would be happy to help, this is not the best way etc etc and to understand what he is getting into before he burns that money on additional prep.
He said he'd call/email me in the morning and that was yesterday.

unrelated note: Cooley has nothing on The University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law. Sent me a "Best of luck" email 89 minutes before Cooley. I know where I'm headed.

Maybe joining Doctors Without Borders might be a better option for him than going to a bad law school just to "do something different".

Oh wait,
nevermind.
It was an acceptance Email.
They accepted me without having taken the LSAT. Maybe it's because a score of 0 will get you into the school.
Just kidding...but sort of not really
