1 star LR questions

Post by eddie3636 » Sat Sep 08, 2012 4:06 pm

Hey everyone,

Right now I am around -2/-3 for each LR section, however the questions I continuously get wrong are the ones rated easiest by Kaplan's rating system. Has anyone else had this problem where the get the hard ones right and the easy ones wrong? If so how did you correct this?

Thanks

Maybe you're overthinking the problems?

This. Whenever I'm doing an LR section and I find myself stumbling on a question in the 1-15 range, I just go with my gut and move on. Doing that, I get those questions right almost 100% of the time.

I think I might be blowing by the easy ones too fast because I seem to get them wrong due to misreads or finding the answer I like without really examining the other choices.

My overall strategy on LR is to do the first couple as a warm up and then skip to about #15 and go from there until the end, then going back to the ones I skipped.

I dislike your strategy.
