Improvement over Several Preptests. Forum

Currently I have gotten 161,160,164,173 (4 section tests) and 168,168,163,167 (5 section preptests) These are all in the order I've taken them. These have been from the preptest 7-18 range for the most part. I thoroughly review all answers missed and ones that I circle as challenging. Also I often go over many additional problems in my review that I didn't circle or get wrong to better understand the test. I've been getting around 1-4 wrong RC, 3-7 wrong LR, and 1-3 wrong LG.

I want to get 175+.

Am I on the right track or should I be improving quicker? Comparisons to high scorers with regard to practise scores by prep tests would be very useful or any information that could help guide my studying.

I'd say you're on the right track. You've got a ways to go but you also have plenty of material. Also, IMO those older tests are harder than the more recent ones. Might want to take one of the more recent ones to see how you do.

why do you feel the earlier tests are harder? I feel that the Logic games are definately easier, but the Logical reasoning seems just weird. They seem not as analytical, more passage type comprehension. What do you think?
I have only touched PT 1-7, so maybe my reasoning is a little different.
