I'm signed up to take the October exam. I'm taking a prep course. With moderate, yet inconsistent, studying and having taken only 2 timed PTs, I'm scoring 159. This is a big improvement from my first diagnostic, which was a 145. I'll be able to study full-time starting the last week of August. Will six weeks of studying full-time be enough time to give scoring 170+ my best shot?

What makes you think that you'll suddenly be able to shift into a full-time studying mode that will magically make you score a 170+?

There's plenty of threads on this. Use the search function and read stickies. You've taken two tests. To be blunt, you don't have a damn clue as to what you can do right now. Read the stickies, figure out your plan, and execute the plan. You may have to cancel, but who knows. It depends completely on your work ethic and personal abilities.

I think it's plenty of time if you are disciplined and have a solid study plan that you stick to. Good luck!

6 weeks is not enough time to give scoring 170+ your best shot. Obviously more time would be better. That being said, it is possible. Good luck!

I think you can do 170 but I don't think you can reach your peak score
