PT 9, Section 2, #10
Can anyone explain to me why the answer is B and not A? I was able to easily rule out C D and E but I wasn't sure what my thought process should have been (how to evaluate the answer choices) to be able to answer with B correctly.

Exactly right. Check the prompt again - it asks which proposal will IMPROVE the prospects of accomplishing the goal. Whether they purchase planes with the seats removed or remove the seats themselves, the outcome is the same.VasaVasori wrote:If airlines were required to remove all seats that restrict access to emergency exits, what would be the point in requiring them to buy only planes with unrestricted access to emergency exits? After all, when they buy planes that have restricted access to emergency exits, they're just going to have to remove those seats that restrict the access anyway.
