lsat dilemma!
so quick run down...diagnostic lsat about 8 months ago was a 151. Took the lsat once in december and scored same score though I had prepped quite a bit. Currently registered to take the June test but after taking close to fifteen practice tests still my score has been varying from 159 till 164. My target is high 160's, but unfortunately after about a month of rigorous prep have yet to hit it. So dilemma is to take both the june and october test or to just postpone! I don't want to delay my test till October...but I don't know if having a third score(which I'm satisfied with) will be looked down on!
any thoughts would be appreciate!

Schools wont look down on the 3rd score, however, you aren't really even close to your goal so I don't think June is really worth it... I would advise taking in October and than possibly retaking in Dec. if needed. And this advise is coming from someone that is all about going balls out and taking the test. I just can't see you improving by 4-5 above your average... stranger things have happened, but I would postpone if I was in your position.

You are not alone, I'm scoring about 5 points below where I want to for the June test. I really don't want to take in in October and retake December(assuming I don't hit target score) but it won't matter unless you are going to ED. Just have your apps ready to submit the minute October scores come out.

Don't take if you aren't reaching your goal. Most people score lower.

+1, from a multiple retaker who wished he had waited and studied longer in between.

Somewhat similar. Yesterday's PT I went -2 on RC, -1 LG, and -15 on LR. The LR is worse than normal performance, but I'm having a hard time doing well with any consistency. Canceling will be a game time decision come Monday. Only problem is I'll have a pretty intense political campaign job through the fall, so the October test isn't exactly ideal...
