LSAT Scores
I currently completed Preptest 54 (June 2008) and received an 83..which is equivalent to a 163. I then look at the conversion charts for the most recent LSATs for June 11, Oct 11, and Dec 11 and an 83 was equivalent to a 165, 166, and 167 respectively. Is there a reason the scores are much higher compared to the June 08 test? I ask because with a 165-167 I have a good chance at Cornell/Fordham as a URM. With a 163 I would probably need to increase a bit more.

Re: LSAT Scores
Different tests have different curves. Easier tests mean you need more correct answers to reach a 167, and harder tests require fewer correct answers to reach 167. The test is standardized so your overall score is reflective of your ability, regardless of the difficulty of individual forms.
