Should I retake the LSAT in June?
Hi Everyone! I am a heavy splitter 3.94/154
Here is a rundown of my cycle
Accepted:
Charlotte
North Carolina Central
Elon (put down a deposit)
Savannah
Appalachian
Charleston
Waitlisted:
William and Mary
Washington and Lee
Richmond (1st choice)
American
George Mason
Not heard from: District of Columbia
Rejected: Wake
My question is do you think retaking the LSAT in June would help me get off of these waitlists? In all my practice tests I scored around a 160 but the night before the test my area had a huge storm that knocked out all the power and I just wasn't with it on the day of the test. Is it worth the money to retake and could a higher score get me into one of the schools I am waitlisted at?
also I should mention I have really good softs like an internship with VA Senator Jim Webb

Retake!!!
There is no reason to waste a 3.9+ on a 154.

I think if you don't get off a waitlist, then you would be better off waiting a year, retaking, and reapplying than attending a school that only recently became accredited. So, either way, I'd advise a retake.

Retake in June/October. If you wait til' October, you can have ample time to study to boost the hell out of your score and apply for the 2013 cycle to a T14.

You are actually a reverse splitter, i.e. try hard in UG but can't understand the LSAT worth a damn. Come on now, are you really willing to waste that 4 years in undergrad? What a dumb question, seriously, can't even comprehend that someone would be asking this. If you got up to just a 160 you'd have WAY better options...
Sorry for being rude, I'm just upset I didn't try very hard my first 2 years of UG.
