My Journey - With Velocity LSAT

Post by OUBobcat » Wed Mar 21, 2012 10:35 pm

So, I have decided that I will be taking a year off. I will be working full time next year, saving up for law school. Hopefully I will not need to save as much, meaning that I will get a decent scholarship next cycle. I self studied for quite some time, and did well on the LSAT (not by TLS standards though). I got into some good schools with little to no money. Now, I am utilizing Dave Hall's Velocity LSAT. I am wrapping up my second week's worth of material. I will keep updating this post periodically, somewhat as a journal of my progress moving forward. This should be insightful to some people who are questioning about Velocity, hopefully I can answer your questions (some, remember I'm just getting started).

Things I've learned in Week 1:

Flaws aren't so bad - especially with the negate methods provided

I can manipulate and understand conditionals much better (also shown in some of his free videos)

The material is often presented in a comical way

Dave makes the lessons enjoyable, while instilling confidence in success

Flenn Peck is a D-Bag

I don't care about people eating sandwiches (especially peanut butter ones)

Charlie Sheen lives in Beverly Hills and throws wild/awesome parties (I already knew the second part)

Best ever if the " I finished it for you" wasn't in there. As is, ruined it.

I gotta hand it to Velocity LSAT for finding a great way to get free advertising on this site.

How do you think most people found out about using the Bibles and Manhattan materials? I'm not trying to be a prick or anything, but this whole board is an advertisement for LSAT prep materials, whether they be books or courses. Shit, there's discount coupons for Princeton stickied I believe.
