Old LR?

Post by Clearly » Sat Mar 17, 2012 12:31 am

So I'm not sure if this is a fluke or not, but I took an older LR section today, pre 2000... And bombed it! -5-6, I score in the -1 range pretty consistently, so I thought I just had an off day, then I realized that this is a pretty old test. I just finished another section from 2004 and was right back to -1...

Anyone else find older tests harder in LR? Not that the sample size is significant in my case.

Older LR is extra wordy. Sometimes im just like "wtf did I just read".

Luckily new LR is more clear and predictable!

Older LR is quite different, if I do them for too long I find myself switching strategies and reading stimulus first since their premise relationships are so connected.
