Score improvement after the bibles? Forum

So if I'm pting at 163, where do you think I might be after finishing the lg and lr bibles? And how long does it take to finish the bibles?

Well for me, the bibles helped me crystalize the basics. It helped me jump from 149 to 160 PTing. After that, all increases were a result of reviewing PTs.

Everyone is different but the bibles are not exactly taylored to exceptionally high scorers.

The bibles really dont take that long to finish. I read the lg bible on a 10 hour plane ride. O_O

It just depends on where your issues lie, for me the one real improvement I've seen since using the bibles is I'm able to do LG sections much more time efficiently.

For lg I'm just not able to create complete diagrams... I'm just not able to do them efficiently and feel like I'm making a educated guess on at least one question per game, and often getti those wrong. Went -5 on game day last June, hoping to go -2 when I take it for the final time.

For lrs I just need to become more consistent. In my pts I usually went -2 to -4 per section and went -4 and -5 on game day.

If you are losing points due to technical errors/LG ability, then you can expect a dramatic improvement.

But you need to tell us more.

But, do them anyways.
