Timed or untimed 1st Diagnostic LSAT?

Post by nrobin13 » Sun Feb 26, 2012 3:21 am

I will be taking my first full LSAT practice test this Friday. Thus far I have studied and completed the PowerScore books on Logic Games, Logical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension but I did not take a practice LSAT before working through those books. I was wondering if it would be most beneficial to take the first practice test untimed and really focus on getting correct answers as opposed to stressing out over time constraints. However, I wanted to know how the forum feels about this question and how you approached this same dilemma. I will be taking the June 2012 LSAT. Any other study plans, tips, or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A question I also had about the first diagnostic test, should you take it without having ever studied?

Absolutely. You'll know your areas of weakness better and can study more efficiently.
