Feb 11 Reading Comp. No specifics
Did any one else find the reading comp to be really hard? I usually answer reading comp questions with confidence, not so much today.

I don't know.
Personally, I believe it was easier than the Dec one.
The one on bankruptcy was actually enjoyable LOL.
Others well, I have to say that there weren't any special curveballs.
I'm sorry but did the real RC contain the article on diversifying crops? (I had 2 RCs)
I thought that one was a tad annoying.

I had two as well. The real section contained the bankruptcy passage which wasn't too bad but I found the others difficult, especially the one about fossils.

* Bankruptcy - Aced it! Loved it! (I have a strong finance background).
* Arts funding (comparative) - Enjoyed it! Did really well on this.
* Sandstorm/Dinosaurs - Meh. I'm sure I got at least 5/7 on this.
* Farming - Got RAPED on this!

Hahaha the farming passage was pretty brutal. Good job on the arts funding passage, I wish I could say the same, I just really couldn't retain the information very well in that passage.justbubbles wrote:* Bankruptcy - Aced it! Loved it! (I have finance background).

Re: Feb 11 Reading Comp. No specifics
Discussing specific content is not allowed on TLS, so let me state a general view without getting specific about the content.
The comparative passage was not like many of the ones from seen before (PT57-PT65).
The views expressed in Passage B was a complete 180 degree to the view expressed in Passage A, BUT the question and answer choices were designed in such a way that a careless reader could very easily draw similarities between the two passages. The only thing the two passages had in common was the topic.
As for the farming passage... what I found to be insane was that 3 (yes - THREE!) questions were all around the last paragraph. WTF!
