PowerScore Weekend+ Online class?
I was just wondering if there are any feelings about taking the PowerScore Online Class $995 in ADDITION to the weekend class in person $395.
If you were to go this route would you do the Weekend course first or the online course first? Or would you do the inperson class somewhere in between.
I would rather take the Full Course in person, I think i learn better this way, but the class is over 1.5 hours away, not really practical at all esp with a full class load.

Well, the online course gives you everything the full length course does (which is everything), so if you do the online there is no point in doing the weekend course.

Don't do that. I think you'll get the same material twice.

I am taking 18 hours this semester and will not have the time to drive 3hr/day 3 day/wk to do this plus the studying for the course and classes, however having an actual person to talk to would be helpful i think.Mal Reynolds wrote:Don't do that. I think you'll get the same material twice.

Then find a tutor. That would be my suggestion. But going over the same material seems like a waste.jared6180 wrote:I am taking 18 hours this semester and will not have the time to drive 3hr/day 3 day/wk to do this plus the studying for the course and classes, however having an actual person to talk to would be helpful i think.Mal Reynolds wrote:Don't do that. Re: PowerScore Weekend+ Online class?
I hve started the self-study route, and I will keep plugging away at that. I have decided to take the May 10th-June 7th PowerScore online Virtual class, I noticed with the start date I will be starting it on a Thursday, the last day of finals for the Spring Semester, and will complete it about a week into the Summer semester, so it will not heavily interfere with any schooling. I plan to study my PowerScore books hard on the self study route, so that the actual class will be relearning, and reenforcing what knowledge I already have. I won't be using the actual class at all, I hope that is not a mistake. My goal is 180, but I NEED 168 at least.
