Schools receive scores before we do? Forum

Why do I feel as though the schools who have all of the other components of your application receive your pending LSAT score before we do? Please correct me if this is wrong...

im not sure but i am pretty positive that lsat prep companies get a copy of the exam faxed over about 30 minutes prior to scores being released.

As far as I know, not true. I've certainly never received a copy before my students.
