Kaplan mastery sucks,does powerscore, manhattan lsat have1? Forum

Any one feel this way? I feel i might have better explanation than the one provided. Their explanation for right answer is fine, but, it is the explanation for the wrong answer that sucks (why wrong answer is wrong). I see that i can come with better explaination why those answer are wrong, after using powerscore and Manhattan. I really like manhattan LR and powerscore explaination for right and wrong answer, but they dont have tons of practise that are similar to kaplan mastery.

Any one know if their is such book for powerscore or manhattan lsat that has tons of practise with explaination? Also, for those that used Kaplan mastery, Would you disregard kaplan explainaiton and just use the pracitse drills, confirm your answer and rely on your own explainaiton?

Yeah, I agree. Kaplan's explanations sucks. They are too vague and don't really help at all. As far as the questions go in the mastery books, those are great practice since they group the types of questions together. But that's about it. As far as books go, I know powerscore has a book that contains a bunch of questions with explanations so you might want to look into that book.

Manhattan gives you two pretty thick practice books if you sign up for the class. Not sure if you can purchase them stand-alone or if they are just with the class. They don't give explanations in the book, but you can find explanations on the forums.

I wish I had read this before I plunked down $1500 for the LSAT Extreme Course. Oh well, you live and learn.
