Differences in Curves in Foreign Locations

Post by osgiliath » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:28 am

Before anyone jumps on this, I'm not talking about women. Or men, for that matter.

I'm wondering if there is the same "monster curve" phenomenon for the December tests, with the tighter curves in June, for foreign administrations of the test as there is for the US ones.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Most of us testing outside the US got similar LR/LG/RC sections. Is there really going to be a difference in curve? If our test sections had mix n match of more easy passages/games or LR than the ones administered in the US, then may be little difference. But really? I doubt it.

international tests are all undisclosed, so there is no information on curves for any administration.

What's this "Monster December Curve"

Are Dec curves more generous or strict? Felt the test was harder overall due to the RC passages, but was wondering if there is a history of softer Dec curves.
