December 2011 RC was harder than June 2011 Forum

June 2011 was decent but not too hard, the December one was more difficult. The last passage about the soil was ridiculous as were the questions, then the comparative reading passage was also tough.

Agreed. At least I finished the June RC with some time to look over difficult questions. This RC not only was difficult, but also very time consuming.

would like to get more opinions on this now that scores are reported. As expected I did the worst on my reading going -10!

I'm CONVINCED that it was the hardest reading section EVER!

Yeah...I have to agree. RC is usually my best section and always finish with 5 or so minutes to double check questions but had only seconds (like 2 or 3) to spare in Dec. I ended up with -2 where I usually am good for -0. I only had trouble with the soil passage, finding it difficult to understand and the questions unusually difficult. I thought the comparative passage was fine.

Strangely both of my mistakes were on the first two easier passages but it's the type of thing that I would've caught if I had a couple minutes to double check. I'm super grateful that the soil passage was last, however. I'm not used to checking my watch during RC and would've easily spent 20 minutes on that one article.

Def hardest RC I've done, although RC is easily the hardest section for me. I felt that the soil passage was uncharacteristically verbose in terms of reading and questions. I felt that the blackmail was clunky and very strange, and just plain weird in reading and questions.
