Hi,
I'm french and I need to know how to write an addendum for the evaluation of my degree. I need to tell them that "Session 2" means that I have retake some courses in the same year but that I dont have repeated a year. I also need to tell them that Licence is the same as a bachelor and that 10/20 in France corresponds to a good note like A- and not C like they thought.
Can you please tell me how to do it because I dont know.
Thank you,
Bear.

Re: How to write an addendum
Hi,
I don't know about the addendum, but I'm French too, and I can tell you that 10/20 is definitely a C ( = minimum passing grade, 2.0 GPA out of 4). I don't want to be mean, but you clearly need to understand that even in France, 10/20 is nowhere close to good. You may think it is good because you can pass, but good is around 14/20 (even 12/20 is called "good enough", "rather good")
This is nothing official, but from my experience on both sides, the A range would be 16-20, B range 12-15, C range 10-11
Below 10 is D or F depending on how bad it is. Sorry to sound like an a**hole, but I think it would really help you to reconsider your ambitions
Best,
Frank
