got all excited when I saw this email.............

The result of your recent LSAT exam will be released shortly, and I would like to let you know about all the opportunities Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida has to offer. If you have earned your undergraduate degree by the end of December, we have a spring class that starts in late January along with our regular fall start in August. You should plan to apply early for either term so that you may be awarded any eligible scholarship upon your potential acceptance.

They really didn't need to start off their email that way, but you might want to change thread title to avoid getting people's hopes up.

Question: is it possible turn off the way LSAC shares our LSAT regiseration info & other info with school before we even apply to any? if it is....is there a down side to doing so?

I don't think you'll get fee waivers if you turn it off

Definitely jumped at that too. Told a friend about my wait/checking my email every 15 minutes and he sends me an email titled "October LSAT Scores".

ditto on the pranking friend. last night, one of my friends said outloud "did you know, the october scores were just released" and then as i was checking, he adds "just kidding"...
