Getting rusty?
I guess I can't help but assume the worst of the October LSAT and think that I'll need to re-take. If this is indeed the case, I'm pretty sure I'll be taking a year off, and sitting for the June exam. How much time can people take off without losing a significant step? Does anybody have personal experience with this?

Before my retake I took about 3 months off... I was a little 'rusty', but after a couple weeks (1-2ish) of good studying I was back and just as good as before.
In other words, I would not worry about it too much.
