Re: Sabbath Test Waiting Thread
From what I understand, the LSAT is never graded against other test-takers, the curve is pre-determined...

Re: Sabbath Test Waiting Thread
I had the same order in my test and unfortunately I believe that the first LR was indeed the one that counted...

Re: Sabbath Test Waiting Thread
LSAC is required to notify you immediately after the test if you are given a misconduct report and give you a receipt of the actual charge. You weren't notified, so you didn't receive one.lsatcrazy wrote:Ok, I guess I'll start the Sabbath Test waiting thread. A few questions:
1. I had LR-RC-LR-LR-LG. Anyone figure out which LR is experimental? The first was way harder than the other two, so I'm hoping it waas that one.
2. Misconduct question: After the test was over, the proctor told us to sign our test books. I did so, She repeated the instruction, and this time I thought she she meant the answer sheet (brain fried at this point), and I began scanning the answer sheet for a place to sign. She raised her voice and said "If you don't put your pencil down, I will have to dismiss you". I didn't even realize she meant me until I looked up startled and saw her glaring it me. She didn't say anything on the way out or afterwards. Any chance I will get a misconduct and if so, is this of the appealable type? Shouldn't she have said something afterwards if it was? Incidentally, my test center had very few people and the proctor was uber serious, so this wasn't a total surprise.
3. How is the Sabbath exam curved/graded? Is it graded against the previous people who took it as an experimental, or against the current takers (not sure how that would work)?
Anyway, good luck everybody...

You can't really know which section was experimental. I had the same format, and it could have been section 1 or section 3.

Yeah, if we all had the same experimental then there's no way of knowing, period. You just have to accept it could be either one (or for that matter, any one of the three if it's true that the exp. can be later now).

Did anyone feel the LG were harder than usual? I had RC, LG, LR, LG, LR but I found that the experimental were easier than the scored one. I ran out of time on both LG sections although I usually finished with 7 minutes to spare when prepping. Had to guess several answers on both.
How do people feel about the test in general? People at the test center said the comparative reading was really difficult. I thought so as well. The LR is all a blur to me...leaning towards a cancel and a retake although I am in a full time masters program and wont have time to study for a while.

ya i also had two LR's i was positively convinced that the first one i took was the exp and i am not sure if i really really gave it my all as i thought many questions were unusually verbose etc but its kind of a blur. i was disappointed to find out that what i thought was exp actually was the real one.
reading comp was muuuuuuch easier than june. although yes the comparitive was a little ambiguous, it was only 5 questions.
lg i didnt find too hard. first two games were a joke. 3rd game through my through a loop...skipped it, did the fourth game (the game everyone is complaining about) and although it wasnt a piece of cake it was doable...came back to 3rd game and finished just in time
as for the 2nd lr....i thought it was pretty par for the course...2 or 3 very hard ones the rest doable.

Re: Sabbath Test Waiting Thread
Yeah, screwed up on the 3rd game as I read through it too quickly by the time I back tracked I didnt have enough time to take a shot at most of game 4. Actually think I ended up guessing 6 answers. Are we allowed to talk about the entities of the games without mentioning specific rules, questions and answers? Just want to be positive on which one was my experimental as there seems that some testakers out of the US had an experimental after the break (section 5).lsatcrazy wrote:

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
