I am an idiot; anyone taking Testmasters prep?

Post by inflightradio » Mon Oct 03, 2011 5:12 am

After taking the LSAT this October, I decided to sign up for the December LSAT just in case... However, I didn't know Testmasters would be locking the site once the test ended. I know it's kind of a shot in the dark, but I was wondering if anyone was smart enough (unlike me) to have saved the answer keys to some of the homework? I figure I might finish all the Reading Comp-dense homework I skipped out on the first time around and I would really appreciate it if anyone would be willing to send me some keys. I cannot believe Testmasters charges almost half what a full course costs just to renew access... It's kind of ridiculous because they used to let people just call and extend their access if they decided to retest. Oh well, I guess this is what I get for not thinking ahead.

You can try calling Testmasters today; I know they charge for full access to their website, but they should provide you with the answer keys (no explanantions) for free.

yea i would just try calling them. i mean, you paid for the course, you just want to study for december. sounds like a reasonable request and i'd think they'd give it to you for free. if not, tell them that their competition (powerscore, at least) lets their students have access until the dec. test. ;)

good luck!

Thanks so much for the tips guys! I'm liking many of your strategies  I'll definitely try giving them a call since it can't hurt.

Just wanted to update for anyone who might be in the same spot as me: they will let you have continued access, but only to the answer keys (Without any explanations). Can't believe I didn't try that before, the daunting $700 message threw me off, but thanks again everyone for all of your help!

Yea, this is what my testmaster teacher said as well. You should be able to just call and they will give you them all for no cost.
