What to do?
Took the LSAT yesterday. It didn't go as well as I would have liked. I was PT'ing in the low 170's, and probably will get a score in the low 160's.
I want to go to Northwestern. I have a 3.58. Obviously that is not happening with a score in the low 160's.
What do I do? I basically have three options.
1) Apply with my current stats (when I get this score back) and tell them I'm retaking in Dec. I'm afraid I'll get dinged before I can submit a new score, though.
2) Wait to apply after I presumably work out these kinks and rock the December test. Not sure how applying this late in the process affects my chances of admission.
3) As an extension of #3...rocking Dec '11 and applying for next cycle (fall '13).
I'd love your advice! I need to figure out how to address the problems with the test that I'm having. I may try Pithypike's method religiously.

Re: What to do?
Why 1? I'm afraid they will look at my stats (3.58 and prob 162-166) and deny me before I can submit another score. Do I still have a better shot if I apply asap?

Cancel your score and retake in December. But you're not going to do much better unless you study really, really hard from now until the exam. Find out what you're likely to fuck up on and improve. You shouldn't be getting more than 1 or 2 mistakes (0 preferably) on logic games, which is the one section that you can actually improve quickly and learn quickly on.

Thanks! We'll see how I do, but my normal trend for PT's was to get 1-2 wrong on LG, and three each on the rest of the sections. I really just blew it yesterday.
