Could be true/must be true

Post by sfamor » Wed Sep 21, 2011 9:20 pm

This is probably a really dumb question, but in LG when you have a "could be true question"- can the answer be one that also is a MUST be true (or does it HAVE to be one that sometimes could be true and sometimes could be false depending on circumstances)? Thanks!

Well technically, something that MUST be true obviously is something that COULD be true. If you saw an answer that must be true in a could be true question, that would obviously have to be the right answer. But I can't recall ever seeing that. Its not something to worry about, since even if you ever saw it, the answer would be that much more obvious.

It's definitely come up a few times. I don't remember exactly which game, but I covered this over the past few weeks in my class in relation to a question.

I remember seeing this come up once during my drilling. I rechecked everything to make sure I wasn't mistaken, but I think it happens only rarely.

I mean, its certainly unexpected, but if anything, it makes the Q even easier. Since a must be true obviously could be true
