Switching testing locations for Oct. 1

Post by cogitoergosum » Wed Aug 31, 2011 8:39 pm

Re-taking Oct. 1. Currently signed up to take the test @ Columbia University but that is about 1.5 hrs commute, and I'm thinking I don't want that. Can switch to a hotel 3 miles from my house, should I do it? Any reason Columbia would be a better location than a random hotel? (other than the idyllic and possibly inspirational setting)

These might help. Some centers have better desk setups, some are notoriously loud. The links tend to be a bit outdated in spots I've noticed, but it helped me choose one a little farther away so I know I have a big desk instead of one of those tiny auditorium lap desk things.
