Cant seem to gain any points
I have been studying for months. I feel like I have been putting in the effort. Went through both bibles, taking practice tests once a week, reviewing and charting what questions I am getting wrong etc.
I just do not seem to be gaining any points at all. I am between 155 and 158. I need at least a 164 for the schools I am looking at. Where is my breakthrough?

What sections seem to be troubling you the most? How many questions do you typically miss on each section?

And probably more importantly, how are you studying?

Re: Cant seem to gain any points
I am having trouble with the following
Grouping Games and Conditional Reasoning- I have the Manhattan book coming Saturday (If Irene allows it)
Strengthen, Weaken and Justify LR's I am getting about 6-7 questions wrong per section.
Every night I study for 2-3 hours taking "Full Sections" timed then reviewing the sections for patterns
For LR, I write down the type of question, what I got wrong and why.
For the Logic Games section- they are not timed. I can not seem to get through them in under 45 minutes.

Ok, so you have a good idea of what kinds of questions you're getting wrong. Why don't you focus on these instead of doing full sections? Get mastery down first, then worry about timing later.flounder wrote:I am having trouble with the following

Re: Cant seem to gain any points
1) i would suggest postponing the test to december if you are taking it in october.
2) re-read LG bible and use Cambridge lsat to purchase LG grouped by category. Read the chapter and do the corresponding game type
3) profit
you can apply this to LR and RC.

Re: Cant seem to gain any points
I already postponed once. I need to take this test. If I have to retake in February and apply next year I will. Thanks for the suggestions folks
