I narrowed my choices down to B and E.
Per choice B, I don't understand why the eighth bead can't be Green. Wouldn't the following pattern follow all of the rules.
PYRPYR_GO and the blank could be green, yellow or purple.
Why wouldn't this work?

Nevermind. The final rule is any portion of string of 8 beads, not any string of 8 or more beads.
