Final Word on LSAC Absent Policy?

Post by NeedtoStudy » Tue Aug 02, 2011 10:39 pm

I have registered for two tests:

Dec 2010 - 15X
June 2011 - Absent

How many times can I take it before getting permission from a school?

Twice.

You can no longer have a school sponsor a fourth attempt. Such requests, detailing extenuating circumstances must be made directly to LSAC who will decide if a fourth attempt is merited.

You can make a fourth attempt in Feb 2013.

Okay, so an "absent" is not an attempt?

Gotcha, thanks.
