Good timer for LSAT practice tests?

Post by JustSomebody » Wed Jul 13, 2011 3:40 pm

This may be a dumb question, but what's a good timer brand to use when taking PTs? I don't own one and have been using my phone, but it's been getting really annoying.

Use an analog watch. You won't be allowed to use any kind of digital watch or digital timer on Test Day.

This. Start practicing with the analog watch, I had a readable, very simple one. Using a digital timer will become a crutch if you don't.

I used this:

But I ended up scoring well below my best. Not sure I can blame the timer for that though.

I use a cheap analog watch that I bought at CVS so I know how much time is left, and I use the timer on my iPhone to let me know when time is up. As soon as I start the 35 minute timer on my phone I flip it over and put it across the table so I can't see it.
