Testmasters online class (Yes the real one)

Post by Questions4people » Mon Jun 20, 2011 4:15 am

I took the Testmasters in-person class a year ago and was scoring in the mid 160s for my practice tests. I am looking to get into the low 170s and will not be able to attend any in-person classes. As the in-person Testmasters raised my score by about 15 points, I thought that I should go with their online class. I haven't been able to find a review of their online class so far. It seems like they didn't used to offer it as everyone was saying that Testmasters.net did not offer online courses. However, as I found http://www.testmasters.net/lsat/online/ ... ourse.aspx But I am not too sure what kind of course it is? It seems to just be the same materials/resources as the in-person course without the resources. Is this the case? Can anyone confirm this?

It is like the regular course without the 'classroom'. They will send you a stack of books (5, if i remember correctly) and you will have a password to connect to their online tutoring type program as well as a personal tutor whom you can call for assistance. Kinda pricey though

So if I've taken it before, it seems like it's pretty much the same thing and wouldn't even be worth buying it because I already have the books?

That would really depend upon too much for me to say. For instance, I do not know how well you paid attention in the classes, how far you have progressed (average PT scores); but it would probably just be wise to save all that $ for additional prep material.

Thanks for the help, anyone else know? I increased my score by about 15 points by the 2nd Diagnostic, but I didn't really attend the last month or so of class.
