To be fair, if I was an underemployed attorney I would be trying to scare people away from my market too.

On the contrary, I hope as many people as possible go to law school, and hope even more that many pay full boat. As the deluge of loan defaults come crashing in, maybe Congress will finally restore bankruptcy protection to student loans. Then all the "lawyers" from TTT schools can re-train as auto mechanics, truck drivers, fry cooks, and other menial service-sector jobs which they should have been doing in the first place.
