Not speaking about the June 2011 in particular, but has anybody just guessed one letter for 5 or 6 answers and actually done well before?

No. Chances of getting 5 or 6 right in a row are slim to none. Best case scenario (realistically): you get 2 right.

The reason you should guess one letter is that you will at least have a decent shot at getting one or two right. If you alternate, you're liable to miss all 6.

Count on missing 4-5 of the 6 you guessed on. :?

Ive taken about 50 preptests and on one occasion i guessed 3/3 on my last RC passage, the questions werent in order but were my last 3 questions left unanswered
I have also gone 0/5 etc :!:

Do the math dude, you can typically miss 5/6 questions and still get a score in the low/mid 170s
