I hate to say it, but I'm not feeling more than -10 on this one. LR was really easy, there was only one really hard LG (IMO), and one really hard RC passage. I was surprised by how quickly the whole thing flew by. (And watch, it probably fucked me in the ass.)

I said -9. Blech.

Once again, I thought on balance LR was about average, RC was moderately difficult, and LG was fairly easy. Taking the easy way out and going with -10.

I would have said that LR was slightly on the easy side. And I have a bad feeling about how I did on the RC mostly b/c my mind lost focus at that moment (that and the brass musician warming up in the background...) bleh.
agreed. still hoping for a -11, though.

Just a thought: PT 57-62 have curves from -11 to -14 (if I'm not mistaken) and none of them were really that difficult (with the exception of mauve dinosaurs?). So I'm gonna guess it's probably not -9, and more likely to be -10 or -11.

I would be shocked if it's -10 or less.

I think it'll be about average. However, hoping 170 will be more than -10. Ugh.

prediction: two "not both" rules in LG would have confused previous test takers, since those rules are fairly new. this makes the LG section curved favorably.

discuss.

eh. that one was difficult, but the fact the the first two were so easy could offset it? Also all this talk of balls makes me paranoid because I thought it was fairly easy... -_-

I say -10, maybe -9. Seemed a little easier than October 2010 (-12).

LG was easier than expected but I got too relaxed, ran out of time and had to guess a few at the end.

RC was surprisingly hard, probably didn't help that it was section 5 and I was kinda burned out. Still, I finished it with time to spare and only 1 or 2 uncertain answers.

From what I can tell, people were uniformly freaked out by Logic Games and RC. I'm predicting. I went through some older tests that I took and found some ones around that level that seemed even easier than this one did.

Does LSAC have a goal for curve?

I think it's to normalise the scores, so that a 170 in June 2011, e.g., is the same as a 170 from June 2010.

Yeah; I skipped ahead to balls after that other one because I just couldn't wrap my mind around those odd rules at that point. By the time I finished balls though, I had enough time left to manage and at least get glimpses of the crucial deductions.
