Are the questions in the first half of LR easier?
It seems that up until question 15 or so, I don't get any wrong... I end up missing about 4 in the second half. Is it possible that the questions in the second half of LR sections are more difficult than the rest? Or is this an endurance issue I need to work out? If so....How would I fix this? :/ I want to score flawlessly on my LR sections!

The general trend is that 1-10 are relatively easy questions. The questions proceed to become increasingly difficult until the last couple of questions. Typically, the last 2-4 questions will become a little bit easier to reward those players who made it. Of course, you may find a hard question in number 1-10 and an easy question in the middle, but that won't represent the general trend.
You also want to make sure you aren't missing easy questions at the end because you're out of time (a problem I've been experiencing). Recently, I went 19/20 on 1-10, but went 1/5 on the last 5 questions simply because I was out of time and had to rush through easy questions.
You should aim to complete #1-10 in the first 10 minutes.

Okay the bolded makes things seem a lot clearer.....And time isn't really a problem. I finish with about 5 minutes to spare on LR easy. I suppose I'll have to start checking over my middle answer choices a lot more carefully now.rcatmullnv wrote:The general trend is that 1-10 are relatively easy questions. Ok, there is a good post. It sums it up, pretty much.rcatmullnv wrote:The general trend is that 1-10 are relatively easy questions. Like s/he said, there's a mixed bag and I wouldn't go by any general rule.
But let me add this - in the last few latest PTs (ie. PTs 52 and above) the LRs have really been a mixed bag. PT52 and below, I wouldn't get anything wrong in the 1-10 range and maybe some careless reading errors on Qs 11-18 - but - in the last few PTs I got stumped - and got wrong - a few in the earlier Qs 1-10 range. And these weren't careless mistakes.
If the lastest few PTs are indicative of anything, the you can pretty much that the June 2011 LSAT will follow a similar trend.
Moral of the story: attack a question as would attack any question. After all, a right/wrong in Qs 1-10 is worth just as much as a right/wrong in Qs 11-25/26.
