In the newer Pt's, is the first LR section harder? Forum

On the older tests I used to get close to the same amount wrong on both LR sections, but since moving up to the newer PT's, Ive started to miss a bit more on the first LR section and significantly less on the second LR section. Is this just a new trend or am I just not thinking straight for the first section?

There is no "first" LR section; on test day they will be in different orders for different test forms.

I've noticed I have the same problem - I've averaged about 2 points lower on my first LR section, on recent tests.

I think it's just because the newer tests have harder LR sections. It takes me a while to 'warm up.'

I also find that the first section takes me a lot longer to get through than the second section as well. Maybe ill do 5 or 6 questions the morning before the test just to get a warm up

Perhaps you can solve this by doing a warm up?
