So, I just took PT 42 as my second prep test. On my cold diagnostic (the free one from 07, forget month/PT number and am too lazy to go look it up at the moment) I got -4 and -5 on the LR section. I haven't studied LR at all in between tests (been focusing on LG) and I ended up with -10 on section 2 and -0 on section 4. Overall it was the same results, which is to be expected with no studying/practice, but the distribution seems really bizarre to me. Anyone else have a similar experience on this test (or any other PT)?
The only thing I can think of is I was stressed/thrown off by not getting to the last game in section 1 (more accurate, but slower since I'm not totally used to the new methods I've been studying), but the ones I got wrong were all in the middle, and like 5 or 6 in a row. Is this normal at all?? Any advice to prevent this sort of thing in the future?

Yes, I did something quite similar, I think -4,-5 to -2,-9 or something like that. I am still pretty early in the study process, but LR is more normalized now, now the what's normal just has to get better. I think that fatigue played a big role in my first few tests as I just decided to throw them in to my studying one Saturday morning and the second one was sometime during the week after a full day of school/work and I think a little homework.

Sometimes there's one ridiculously difficult LR section and one ridiculously easy one

That's what I thought. I had -6 and -0 on pt 34.bhan87 wrote:Sometimes there's one ridiculously difficult LR section and one ridiculously easy one
Unlike op i've been focusing on LR more than the other sections.
I also had a -9 -2 on PT B but I attribute that to lack of warm up.
