help on grouping games?
so i went through the logic games bible a while ago and have been drilling logic games since, and have gotten very comfortable with the section overall, but i'd say that grouping games are my biggest weakness/take the longest for me to complete. i'm prepping for the june test and while i don't have a ton of time to devote to studying (work full time) i am willing to put almost all of my spare time to studying. would it be worth it to invest in something like ace the lsat or master the lsat for the extra logic games work? or will they not add much to the bible and i'd be better off just drilling tons of games, as opposed to drilling games and reviewing one of those books in addition to my study schedule? thanks

Re: help on grouping games?
The only book with fake games I would recommend is The LSAT Workout, and only then if you are consistently breaking 165 on timed PrepTests.

Re: help on grouping games?
hmm i haven't even heard of that haha, not sure how i've missed it. but yea, i have't taken a preptest in a little while, but i got a 168 on that, and on my timed section practice i've been getting -0-3 RC, -1-3 LR and -0-3 LG. i just want to get more confident with logic games b/c even though i'm capable of doing well i still feel like i'm barely making it through. part of me wants to just get back to drilling games b/c when i was doing that all the time i was quicker, but i also don't want to be drilling bad habits either and if there's a better way to approach those games i'm all for it

Purchase this book
http://www.amazon.com/Manhattan-Logic-G ... 245&sr=8-1
Manhattan LSAT's method for grouping games is so insanely effective that it should be illegal.
Generally, their strategies are far superior to powerscore's, though there are some similarities.
They use their own material for drills and intro games (which are pretty close to real lsats) in addition to real lsat questions.

Re: help on grouping games?
After learning the relationships presented in the grouping game rules, just find old practice tests and do the grouping games on them. After enough, the strategies will transition from things you have to do to solve the problems to just something that your brain does to make sense of the information presented. Be consistent with the method, though; otherwise, it probably won't ever click.
