Inconsistency

Post by Ssushi » Sun Apr 03, 2011 1:24 pm

Hey guys, I'm planning on taking the June test and iv'e just begun to prep. I've taken 3 practice test's and while my scores are very consistent, the questions i am missing are not.

June 07: 165 (-2 LG, -4 LA, -8 RC)
December 07: 166 (-1 LG, -5 LA, -9 RC)
Preptest 29: 167 (-6 LG, -9 LA, -1 RC)

I'm wondering how i should go about prepping when on some occasions i do very well on a certain section and then on other occasions i bomb a the same section. I realize it's only 3 tests and ive gotten the Logic Analysis Bible and have begun working though that. I'm just wondering if anyone else had a similar situation and what they did to become more consistent on the test?

I think if you focus on improving your skills, consistency will come eventually. Go over the Bibles, do some PTs, identify specific areas of weakness (not just sections, but types of questions), drill those areas, repeat.
