Kaplan Test Explainations - where to get these?

Post by justbubbles » Sun Mar 27, 2011 3:58 pm

Two questions:

1. What is the latest Kaplan PT explanations that's out there?

2. I took the Kaplan full course (last year) but I can no longer login to the website because I'm no longer a student. Can non-Kaplan students get access to these?

Thanks! :)

Kaplan's explanations are garbage. TLS, Steve Schwartz (LSAT Blog), and Atlas/Manhattan LSAT are better sources. To inquire on TLS, post the preptest #, section #, and question # (e.g. Preptest 60, section 3, question 22). Before you look for explanations, however, try to explain the question to yourself. Noah's review strategy is particularly insightful on this subject.

Yeah, I agree... their stuff is complete rubbish. Having said that, I kinda like their approach (or better yet: explanations) to LR. I don't really bother with their RC or LG stuff, but some of the LR stuff that I get wrong, I like to see how they approach the right answer.

Other than that, I agree with you... their stuff is completely useless.
