preptest 45, section D, question 20

Post by tajiahao » Sat Mar 19, 2011 9:18 pm

This is the polling data about recognition of cigarette brand logos and smoking among nine-year-olds question...

My answer key says (A), but I still don't understand it.

Could someone help? I'm about to pull my hair out.

Thanks.

The flaw in the smoking kids argument is that the argument does not take into account that recognition of the brands by kids may lead to them smoking those brands later in life. Same with the dolphins, they are only seeing what happens during a three month period, they don't take into account long term effects.

I also got this one wrong, it's a hard one.
