For anyone who has scored a 160 and above...
For personal reference, do any of you recall what score you obtained after completing your first ever LSAT "diagnosis"-type exam? As in, the score you got before ever studying? I'd love to see a list of where people stood before grinding out several months of study time to get above a 160 or 170. Thanks in advance for the responses.

151.
Took three times for a 157, 164, and 172. All self study, but varying methods. I wrote a thread about it so check it if you want more details.

Re: For anyone who has scored a 160 and above...
Diagnostic: 178 (International applicant, when I took my first diag, I was just back from a 6 month mandatory military service on Iraq border, kept telling people about LSAT to keep my sanity so was insanely motivated when I took my first exam lulz)
Reality: 170 (Oct' 10) / 176 (Dec' 10)
EDIT: Method: Self study, read the Bibles and took 45 PTs, but the total amount of time was like 2 months max, during a particularly intense period I took 15 PTs in 17 days.

Cold diagnostic: 154
Actual Test: 165
I took a short LSAT prep class, but did very little self-study. I got into my target school, but in retrospect, I wish have tried harder (or retook) and broke 170 (just for pride's sake).

Re: For anyone who has scored a 160 and above...
Thank you all for the responses, now I don't feel so threatened by scoring 150 and 148 on diagnostic exams. I'm taking the exam in June, and I I sort of set myself up for fear of failure thinking that anyone who breaks a 165 on the LSAT probably scored above a 155 on their first diagnostic.

Re: For anyone who has scored a 160 and above...
I can't remember my diagnostic exactly. I took it with 2 friends, and we were just talking about this the other day. I remembered getting a 161, one remembered 159, and the other guy told me I got a 156. All we can agree on is that I missed 19 on the logic games. 176 in Feb after taking every released prep test and reading the bibles.

Re: For anyone who has scored a 160 and above...
I really had very little improvement.
Diagnostic: 155
A kaplan class where I never paid attention and never did the work. Then I used the bibles. Wound up with a 161.

I'm one of the worst. The LSAT with the french divers in a cave LR question was my diagnostic - 163. ended up with a 165 after multiple tries.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
